Tymon Zaborowski
Tymon Zaborowski (1799–1828) was a Polish poet. He was influenced at the beginning of his writing career by classicism, then by Romanticism. He is also known, after one of his poems, as "''Wieszcz Miodoboru''" ("the Bard of the Honey Harvest"). Life Tymon Zaborowski was born on 18 April 1799 in Lychkivtsi, Podolia. In 1810–16 he attended the Krzemieniec Lyceum. He began writing in 1814 as a member of a student ''Klub Piśmienniczy'' (Writing Club). In 1816–18, in Warsaw, Zaborowski was editor of the literary section of a magazine, ''Ćwiczenia Naukowe'' (Scholarly Exercises). Then he settled at the family estate in Liczkowce. He died in 1828 in Liczkowce. It is unknown whether his death date is 20 or 28 March. Ignacy Zaborowski
Ignacy Zaborowski (2 November 1754–10 January 1803) was a Polish mathematician and geodesist; Piarist. He was a professor and rector of the Collegium Nobilium. Biography Born on 2 November 1754 in Ruthenian Voivodeship, Zaborowski attended Piarists school in Zolochiv. He joined the Piarists order and after that he taught mathematics in Piarists school in Waręż and Łomża. After moving to Warsaw, he became a teacher of mathematics and measuring, and then rector (1799–1801) of Collegium Nobilium. In 1777 he went to Vienna for supplementary studies. In 1786 Zaborowski published the textbook ''Jeometria praktyczna'' (Polish for ''Practical geometry''), where he described methods of geodesic measurement. The book was awarded the Merentibus by Stanisław August Poniatowski. Zaborowski was an author of ''Logarytmy dlá szkół narodowych'' (Polish for ''Logarithms for national schools'') written by order of Commission of National Education and published in 1787. Cathrine Elisabeth Zaborowski-Melbye (; born 3 August 1971) is a former Norwegian football player who played for the Norway national team. She played on the Norwegian team that won silver medals at the 1991 FIFA World Cup in China. She won the Karoline Prize in 1989, being the second winner of the prize after Karoline Krüger in 1988. Career She played most of her career for Asker. She played 68 international matches for Norway and scored 7 goals. Albrecht Zaborowskij (also rendered Saboroweski; Anglicisation, anglicized as Albert Zabriskie; 1638–1711) of Prussia (present-day Poland and Russia) settled in what is now New Jersey on August 31, 1662. Early life and emigration Saborowski, a Lutheran, was born in 1638, perhaps in the Prussian town of Insterburg. After the Thirty Years' War upheavals in Europe, he decided to emigrate to America, as one of the pioneers of European colonization within the area of present-day New Jersey.
