ZOLA Project
ZOLA Project is a release package for the Vocaloid 3 software containing the voices of 3 male singers. "ZOLA" is an acronym for "Zenithal Operated Liaison Aggregation". Development The project was first hinted at early in the month of February 2013, then officially announced in the following month of March that same year. More information was published in volume 10 of the magazine "VOCALOID wo Tanoshimou", which came out on March 11. The singers were picked out of 40 voices, two being picked fairly quickly. Over 100 hours was spent recording them. ZOLA Project was released on June 20, 2013, along with a special live-talk event on Nico Nico Douga. In late April, a special event was held. The event was to present their final drawings and concepts, as well as voice samples. In May 2013, there was an interview on the Yamaha Panel at Niconico Chokaigi 2. Vocaloid 3 is a singing voice synthesizer and successor to Vocaloid 2 in the Vocaloid series. This version of the software is a much more expansive version, containing many new features, three new languages and many more vocals than past software versions combined. Daisuke Asakura
is a Japanese musician, songwriter and producer who is known for his compositional work and skill at the keyboards. Early life and career Asakura's childhood consisted of piano and electronic organ lessons, though he was expected to follow the family trade of plumbing. He started working with Yamaha keyboards and synthesizers in his early teens. Asakura began his career with a job at Yamaha right after finishing high school. , better known by his stage name , is a Japanese lyricist, composer and poet who is affiliated with Amuse, Inc. is a singing voice synthesizer software product. Its signal processing part was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, in 2000 and was not originally intended to be a full commercial project. Backed by the Yamaha Corporation, it developed the software into the commercial product "Vocaloid" that was released in 2004. The software enables users to synthesize "singing" by typing in lyrics and melody and also "speech" by typing in the script of the required words.
