Z111 Factory
The Z111 Factory ( vi, Nhà máy Z111), formally registered as the 11 Precise Mechanical One Member Liability Company () is a state-owned small arms factory located in Thanh Hoá, Vietnam. The Z111 Factory was built in 1957, and was originally called "Z1 Factory". A part of this factory named Factory 1 was built by the Israeli firearms company, Israel Weapon Industries (IWI). It is wholly owned by the Vietnamese Ministry of Defence, and the factory produces arms for the People's Army of Vietnam. A semi-automatic pistol is a type of repeating single-chamber handgun ( pistol) that automatically cycles its action to insert the subsequent cartridge into the chamber (self-loading), but requires manual actuation of the trigger to actually discharge the following shot. IWI Jericho 941
The Jericho 941 is a double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol developed by Israel Military Industries (now Israel Weapon Industries) introduced in 1990. It was first imported into the United States in 1990 by K.B.I., Inc. of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was later imported by O.F. Mossberg & Sons and named the Uzi Eagle and by Magnum Research, Inc. as the Baby Eagle until the end of 2008. Some pistols from Magnum Research are marked Desert Eagle Pistol. STV Rifles
The STV rifle, short for ''Súng Trường Việt Nam'' () or ''Súng Tiểu liên Việt Nam'' (), is a family of Vietnamese assault rifles. They are products of the Z111 Factory and are chambered in 7.62x39mm. As of 2021, the STV-215 and the STV-380 are the standard issued rifles for the People's Army of Vietnam. The STV-022 is reported to be pressed into service. History In 2014, the People's Army of Vietnam adopted the IWI Galil ACE 31/32 as the standard issue rifle. This included a license to manufacture them locally at the Z111 Factory. The factory immediately began modifying the IWI Galil ACE to better suit the local terrain and climate, while also implementing more Kalashnikov parts. OSV-96
OSV-96 (Russian: ОСВ-96) is a Russian heavy semi-automatic precision rifle chambered for the 12.7×108mm. Description The rifle is capable of engaging infantry at a distance of up to 1800 meters and can combat material targets at ranges up to 2500 meters. As an effective anti-sniper weapon, OSV-96 keeps the shooter outside of the effective range of conventional calibers providing a distinct advantage over lower caliber rifles. Specialized high-accuracy 12.7×108mm 7N34 59.0 gram FMJ and AP sniper cartridges have been developed for Russian .50-caliber sniper rifles such as this rifle.
