Zouhair M'Dhaffer
Zouhair Ahmad Abdallah ( ar, زهير أحمد عبد الله; born 5 May 1983) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a defender and captains club Shabab Sahel. Starting out as a right-back, Abdallah moved to centre-back later on in his career. Abdallah started his senior career at Shabab Sahel in 2004, helping them win the Lebanese Challenge Cup twice in a row (2014 and 2015). In 2017–18 Abdallah helped his side win the Lebanese Second Division, gaining promotion back to the Lebanese Premier League. In 2019, Abdallah helped Shabab Sahel win their first Lebanese Elite Cup. Abdallah played twice for the Lebanon national team, both times in 2011: a friendly against Oman, and a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Bangladesh. 2019–20 Lebanese Premier League
The 2019–20 Lebanese Premier League was intended to be the 59th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1934. Al Ahed FC, Ahed were the three-time defending champions. Bourj FC, Bourj and Shabab El-Bourj SC, Shabab Bourj joined as the promoted clubs from the 2018–19 Lebanese Premier League. They replaced Bekaa SC, Bekaa and Racing Club Beirut, Racing, who were relegated to the 2019–20 Lebanese Second Division. On 21 January 2020, the LFA decided to suspend all football leagues until further notice, and cancelled the three match days that were previously played (the last one being on 17 October 2019), due to the ongoing Lebanese liquidity crisis, economic crisis and the impending arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in Lebanon, coronavirus pandemic.
