Zoltán Cziffra
Zoltán Cziffra (born 10 November 1942 in Keszthely) is a retired Hungarian triple jumper. He won the silver medals at the 1969 European Indoor Games and the 1969 European Championships. He also finished fifth at the 1970 European Indoor Championships and sixth at the 1971 European Indoor Championships. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking. Henrik Kalocsai
Henrik Kalocsai (; 28 November 1940 – 22 May 2012) was a Hungary, Hungarian athlete who specialized in the triple jump and long jump. He won the gold medal at the 1965 Summer Universiade, the bronze medal at the 1966 European Championships in Athletics, 1966 European Championships and the silver medal at the 1967 European Indoor Games. He became the Hungarian triple jump champion in 1962, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971 and 1973, rivalling with Drágán Ivanov, Zoltán Cziffra and Gábor Katona. In the long jump he finished sixth at the 1970 European Indoor Championships in Athletics, 1970 European Indoor Championships. He became Hungarian long jump champion in every year from 1960 to 1971, except for 1964 and 1968 when Béla Margitics won. He also became indoor champion in 1974. Gábor Katona (born 1 October 1952) is a retired Hungarian triple jumper. He won the bronze medal at the 1970 European Junior Championships and finished fourth at the 1979 European Indoor Championships. The 9th European Athletics Championships were held from 16–21 September 1969 in the Karaiskaki Stadium of Athens, the capital of Greece. New at these championships were the women's 1500 metres and the women's 4×400 metres relay event. Moreover, women's 80 metres hurdles was replaced by women's 100 metres hurdles. Contemporaneous reports on the event were given in the Glasgow Herald.
