Rolf Schübel
Rolf Schübel (born 11 November 1942 in Stuttgart, Germany) is a German film director and screenwriter. Schübel studied literature and sociology during the 1960s, first in Tübingen, and later in Hamburg. There he met filmmaker Theo Gallehr and assisted at his documentary ''Landfriedensbruch'' (1967). However, the film was not shown in television but went directly to the film archives; the Norddeutscher Rundfunk, NDR (North German Broadcasting Studios) as employer refused to broadcast the film because it was viewed as too radical. Nevertheless, Gallehr and Schübel produced a number of films for the Norddeutscher Rundfunk, NDR and Westdeutscher Rundfunk, WDR afterwards. For their documentary ''Der deutsche Kleinstädter'' (1968) they received the Adolf Grimme Awards, Adolf Grimme Award, as well as for ''Rote Fahnen sieht man besser'' (1971) concerning the closure of a chemical plant in Krefeld. Lale Yavaş (born 1978 in Brugg) is a Swiss and Turkish actress. Biography Born in 1978 in Zürich, she studied arts at the University of Bern. After finishing her studies, she landed roles in ''Alles wird gut'', ''I was a Swiss banker'', and ''Imbissness''. İdil Üner (born 1 August 1971 in West Berlin, West Germany) is a German-Turkish actress. Üner studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. She received piano lessons for 17 years—starting from the age of 6—and formal opera training for two years. She joined the youth chapters of the Turkish-speaking theater Tiyatrom in Berlin of which her father was a founding member. She made her television debut in the series ''Tatort'' (1993) and her cinema debut with Rudolf Thome's '. Üner achieved recognition in the works of Fatih Akın and Thomas Arslan, particularly ' and '' In July''. She wrote the lyrics to "Güneşim", the main song of ''Im Juli''.
