Zanzibar Women's National Football Team
The Zanzibar women's national football team, nicknamed the "Zanzibar Queens", is the women's representative team from Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous part of Tanzania. Founded in 1988, the team has limited recognition as the regional governing body, the Zanzibar Football Association, is a full member of the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) and Confederation of African Football (CAF), but Zanzibar Football Association is not recognised by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) as an independent national association. The national team was supposed to have its first international matches in the CECAFA Women's Challenge Cup in October 2007, but the event was cancelled. The team plays domestically against men's sides in Zanzibar. Zanzibar Football Association
The Zanzibar Football Federation (ZFF) (previously known as Zanzibar Football Association) ( sw, Shirikisho la Mpira wa Miguu Zanzibar) is the governing football Federation for Zanzibar, Africa. The ZFA were an ''associate member'' of the African governing body, the Confederation of African Football. Following a rejection from FIFA in 2005, the ZFA were removed from CAF and after much lobbying were reinstated as an ''associate member''. This meant that the club sides associated with the ZFA can participate in the continental club competitions organised by CAF but the Zanzibar national team could not. The ZFA are not entitled to vote in CAF affairs due to their associate member status. Players from Zanzibar are eligible to play in international competition for the Tanzania team, the representative of the sovereign territory. 2016 CECAFA Women's Championship
The 2016 CECAFA Women's Championship was the second edition of the association football tournament for women's national teams in the East African region. The first edition was hosted in 1986 and won by Zanzibar. It was held in Jinja, Uganda, Jinja, Uganda between 11 and 20 September 2016. There were no sponsors besides the Uganda Football Association. Participants The seven participants were announced on 29 August 2016. Sudan and South Sudan were initially reported as having confirmed participation, but did not appear in the draw. Opah Clement
Opah Clement Tukumbuke Sanga ( Swahili: Oppa Clement Tukumbuke Sanga ; born 14 February 2001) is a Tanzanian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Turkish club Beşiktaş and the Tanzania women's national team. Club career Clement began her career with Simba Queens, playing in the Serengeti Lite Women's Premier League. She won the league in both 2019/20 and 2020/21. The latter victory qualified Simba Queens to play in the 2021 CAF Women's Champion's League CECAFA qualifiers. Simba Queens finished fourth. She scored a hat-trick in her team's 10-0 victory over FAD Club. In the midst of the 2021/22 season, Clement went on loan to Kayseri Kadin FK in early 2022. Simba Queens won the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League CECAFA qualifiers, with Clement scoring two goals over the course of the tournament. The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is the governing body of association football in Uganda. The association was founded in 1924, became affiliated with FIFA in 1960 and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 1961. In 1973, FUFA went ahead and got affiliated with CECAFA. Further more, FUFA is also affiliated to Uganda Olympic Committee. Debora Racing cars is a small French car builder, popular with private racing teams, based in Besançon, France. Teams generally use their chassis to take part in Le Mans style endurance racing such as Magny Cours, Jarama and le Mans.
