Zanjeer (1998 Film)
''Zanjeer: The Chain'' is a 1998 Bollywood action film directed by Shibu Mitra starring Aditya Pancholi, Pratibha Sinha and Shakti Kapoor in the lead role. Plot The film follows the story of Kumar (Aditya Pancholi), a local underworld don of Mumbai, who has a rival Lala Sarweshwar (Kiran Kumar). Both men have occupied their own areas in Mumbai and are running their own businesses. Kumar wants to avenge the death of his father, who had been Lala's loyal friend but Lala got him murdered on doubts of traitory. Kumar has a younger brother Sudhakar (Samrat Mukerji), who hates him because of his criminal activities, unbeknownst to the fact that Kumar committed his first murder to protect Sudhakar. Shibu Mitra
Shibu Mitra is an Indian film director and producer. His career spans more than 40 feature films in Bollywood, and his movies were particularly popular in the late 1970s and through out 1980s, the most successful among them being Shankar Dada, ''Aakhri Goli'', Paanch Qaidi, ''Ilzaam'', ''Aag Hi Aag'', '' Paap Ki Duniya'', '' Insaaf Main Karoongaa'', Maan Gaye Ustaad and Durgaa. Tej Sapru
Tej Sapru (born 5 January 1955) is an Indian actor. He is the son of D. K. Sapru and Hemvati, both of whom were actors in the Hindi film industry. Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. She is a recipient of the National Film Award and Filmfare Awards South. She has also won five Maharashtra State Film Awards, four Gujarat State Film Awards, and one Orissa State Film. Vinod Rathod (born 12 September 1962) is an Indian playback singer who primarily sings in Bollywood films. Rathod is the son of late classical musician, Pandit Chaturbhuj Rathod. Virendra Razdan (1951 – 13 June 2003) was an Indian actor. Early Life Virendra Razdan was born on 6 March 1951 to a middle class Brahmin family at Srinagar, Kashmir.
