Zamani Ibrahim
Zamani Ibrahim (born 25 May 1971) also known as Zamani Slam is a popular influential pop rock singer from Malaysia. He started his singing career through the famous 1990s pop group, Slam from 1993 to 1999. He then launched a solo music career in 2002 and is now one of the best singers in Malaysia and Indonesia as well as regional countries. His powerful and unique vocals has gained him fans from all ages until he was placed on a par with the best vocalists in the country. In 1998, he was selected among the Nation’s most renowned artists to perform during the closing ceremony of the 1998 Commonwealth Games in front of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and among delegates and officials from 70 countries including those from the States Commonwealth. Ampang, Selangor
Ampang Jaya, more commonly known as just Ampang, is a town, a mukim and a parliamentary constituency straddling parts of the Hulu Langat District and Gombak District, in eastern Selangor, Malaysia. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century. They were widely used across Europe, and later in Australia, North Africa, North America and South America. Ballads are often 13 lines with an ABABBCBC form, consisting of couplets (two lines) of rhymed verse, each of 14 syllables. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. Voice of Asia (, ''Azııa Daýysy''; , ''Golos Azii'') is a music festival held annually in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Acts from all over Asia and other areas take part. The usual venue for the festival is the outdoor Medeo speed skating rink, situated on the mountainous outskirts of the Tian Shan, several kilometers away from the Almaty center.
