Zabih Etemadi
Zabih Etemadi, (born 19 September 1982) is an Iranian former professional footballer living in the Netherlands. He currently works as a lawyer and sports agent and owns a sports management company. He holds Dutch citizenship and is the older brother of Agil Etemadi. Biography Zabih Etemadi was born in Tehran (Iran) and grew up in Dubai. His family moved to The Netherlands when he was 10 years old. Professional football player On his 15th Etemadi was scouted by SC Heerenveen. In 2001, he made his debut as a professional football player in the Dutch second division for Cambuur Leeuwarden, where he played as a back for three years. In 2004, he signed a contract with FC Groningen in the Dutch premier league. Etemadi retired from professional football in 2005 due to a knee injury. Drachtster Boys is a football club from Drachten, Netherlands. The female squads of the soccer club are extremely successful, winning national titles and cups. The male squad plays in the 2021–22 season in the Saturday Eerste Klasse (6th flight) after relegation from the Hoofdklasse in 2016. It won section championships in 1973, 1981, 1989, 2005, 2009, and 2013. The squad won the District Cup for amateur clubs in the northern Netherlands three times, in 1983, 1987, 2001. In 1983 it went on to win the National Amateur Cup. This was a first and only among Frisian football clubs. WV-HEDW, in the long form Wilhelmina Vooruit Hortus Eendracht Doet Winnen, is a football club in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The club plays at Sportpark Middenmeer and has the most adult members and teams among Dutch football clubs. History The predecessors of the club, Wilhelmina Vooruit and HEDW, were badly hit in The Holocaust, when 236 of their Jewish members were murdered. Martijn Barto (born 23 August 1984) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a striker for Blauw Wit '34 in the Eerste Klasse. Club career He formerly played professional football for RKC Waalwijk and Helmond Sport. After he had played four years for amateur side Harkemase Boys, he returned in professional football in July 2011, when he signed a two-year deal with SC Cambuur. Barto won the Eerste Divisie title with the club in May 2013 and thus returned to the Eredivisie after having played there eight years earlier.
