Yuzo Koshiro
is a Japanese composer and sound programmer. He is often regarded as one of the most influential innovators in chiptune and video game music, producing music in a number of genres including rock, jazz, symphonic, and various electronic genres such as house, electro, techno, trance, and hip hop. Koshiro and his sister Ayano founded the game development company Ancient in 1990, of which he remains the president. He has been cited as creating some of the most memorable game music of the 1980s and 1990s contributing for games such as Nihon Falcom's ''Dragon Slayer'' and '' Ys'' series, as well as Sega's '' The Revenge of Shinobi'' and ''Streets of Rage'' series. Yuzo Toyama
is a Japanese composer and conductor. A native of Tokyo, he was a pupil of Kan'ichi Shimofusa; he studied conducting with Kurt Wöss and Wilhelm Loibner and, like them, later became a conductor of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. As a conductor he has served with numerous orchestras throughout Japan; as a composer his prime influences are Béla Bartók and Dmitri Shostakovich. Rostropovich performed the world premiere of the composer's six-movement 1967 First Cello Concerto, a piece described by ''Gramophone'' as "attractive", with the additional comment that it "sounds like Japanese folk music rendered orchestral by Kodaly". is the pseudonym of , a popular Japanese manga artist. He worked as an assistant for manga artist Fujihiko Hosono before starting his career as an original author. His first work appeared in November 1983 in ''Young Magazine'', and his first series ''Tokonatsu Bank'' started in that publication in January 1984 and ran until February 1985. Takada is better known for his supernatural manga '' 3x3 Eyes'' and ''Blue Seed'', and for the comedy-action manga ''All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku''. Yuzo Saeki
was a Japanese painter, noted for his work in developing modernism and Fauvist Expressionism within the ''yōga'' (Western-style) art movement in early twentieth-century Japanese painting. Biography Saeki was born in Osaka as the son of a Buddhist priest. He was interested in art from an early age, and imitated the Impressionist style Kuroda Seiki while learning art in middle school. He moved to Koishikawa (now part of Bunkyō in Tokyo) in 1917 to study art under Takeji Fujishima and enrolled in the western art department of the Tokyo School of Fine Arts in 1918. was a professional Go player. Biography Ōta was born in 1807. His original birth name was Kawahara Unosuke (川原 卯之助). He had gone through many name changes throughout his life, including Ōta Unosuke, Ōta Ryosuke, and finally, Ōta Yūzo. His father was a merchant at the time, and was from Edo.
