Yücel Çolak
Yücel Çolak (born 13 November 1968 in Samsun) is a Turkish football manager, and a retired footballer who played as a forward in the Turkish Süper Lig, as well as the lower divisions of Turkey. Professional career A journeyman striker, Yücel began his career in his hometown of Samsun representing Samsunspor. He very briefly transferred to Galatasaray and made one appearance for them at the TSYD Cup on 12 August 1990. Prolific in the lower divisions, Yücel was top scorer with Mersin İdmanyurdu in the 1991–1992 season of the TFF Second League. Samsun, historically known as Sampsounta ( gr, Σαμψούντα) and Amisos (Ancient Greek: Αμισός), is a List of largest cities and towns in Turkey, city on the north coast of Turkey and is a major Black Sea port. Turkey National Under-16 Football Team
The Turkey national under-17 football team is the national under-17 football team of Turkey and is controlled by the Turkish Football Federation. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship, held every year. The original tournament was called the UEFA European Under-16 Football Championship (1982-2001). Tanju Çolak
Tanju Çolak (born 10 November 1963 in Samsun) is a Turkish retired footballer who played as a striker. Club career He made his debut for Samsun Yolspor. From there he was transferred to Samsunspor in 1981 where he was the top scorer in both the 1985–86 and 1986–87 seasons. Çolak then moved to Galatasaray in the end of 1986–87 season. He was the top scorer in Europe with 39 goals in the 1987–88 season. At the same time, he was awarded the European Golden Boot given by France Football. He is the only Turkish footballer to date to win this award. Çolak became the top scorer again in the 1991–92 season, and transferred to Fenerbahçe at the end of the season. He had a lifetime total of 240 goals and took over the title of top goal scorer in the Turkish Super League by breaking the legendary record of Metin Oktay. The TSYD Cup ( tr, Türk Spor Yazarları Derneği Kupası, Turkish Sports Writers Association Cup) was a friendly football competition in Turkey. The tournament started in 1963. It was played throughout six regions in Turkey: Adana, Ankara, Istanbul, İzmir, Konya, and Trabzon. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig.
