Yves Engler
Yves Engler (born 1979) is a Canadian Montreal-based writer and political activist. In addition to twelve published books, Engler's writings have appeared in alternative press and in mainstream publications such as ''The Globe and Mail'', ''Toronto Star'', ''Ottawa Citizen'', and ''Ecologist''. His 2009 book, ''The Black Book of Canadian Foreign Policy'', was short-listed for the Quebec Writers' Federation Mavis Gallant Prize for Nonfiction. Studies and activism Concordia University Engler moved to Montreal to study at Concordia University in the early 2000s, where he was elected vice president of communications with the Concordia Student Union. He was suspended from the university due to his involvement in the Concordia University Netanyahu riot, which erupted in response to a visit to the campus by former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Real News Network (TRNN) is an independent, nonprofit news organization based in Baltimore, MD that covers both national and international news. History TRNN was founded by documentary producer Paul Jay and Mishuk Munier in September 2003, with the goal of creating a news network that made complicated concepts accessible to the average person. TRNN moved to Baltimore in June 2014, with the focus of telling stories about urban America, specifically focusing on the city's issues, including crime, education, and housing that are found throughout the United States. Anthony Fenton is a Canadian independent print and radio journalist and writer. He has been a regular contributor to '' The Dominion'' and Z Communications, and is currently a doctoral student at York University. Education Fenton earned a BA in political science from the University of Alberta in 2002 and an MA in political economy from York University in 2011.
