Yuya Yamamoto
is a retired Japanese kickboxer who competed in K-1 at middleweight (-70 kg). He is the former Japanese national champion of kickboxing sanctioned by All Japan Kickboxing Federation at welterweight. Biography Amateur era Yuya Yamamoto was born in Takasu, Onomichi in Hiroshima, Japan on July 15, 1984. He started learning karate at Kushukaikan during his high school life. Although he was only 16 years old, he won the All Japan Shin Karate championships at lightweight. After winning the championship, he moved to Tokyo and joined ''Booch Beat'', a kickboxing team, to be a kickboxer. On September 7, 2001, he debuted as a professional kickboxer for All Japan Kickboxing Federation(AJKF). At this time, he was only 17 years old. ''K-1 World MAX 2010 –70 kg World Championship Tournament Final'' was a martial arts event to be held by the K-1 on Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan. It will be the 9th inaugural K-1 World Max Final, the culmination of a year full of regional elimination tournaments. Akihiro Gono
(born October 7, 1974) is a Japanese mixed martial artist currently competing in the Lightweight division. A professional competitor since 1994, he is best known for his clever and deceptive fighting style, and for his flashy ring entrances. Gono has competed for the UFC, PRIDE Fighting Championships, Pancrase, the World Series of Fighting, DEEP, World Victory Road, Shooto, Bellator, and also participated in the Dynamite!! 2009 event. Shintaro Matsukura
Shintaro Matsukura is a Japanese kickboxer fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. He is the current WPMF World Super Middleweight champion. Career On March 2, 2008 Matsukura participated to the K-1 tryouts, he passed every steps and was selected by the officials including K-1 youth development director Kensaku Maeda. Matsukura turned professional on July 20, 2008 at the MAJKF BREAK THROUGH 5 event. He was defeated by unanimous decision against Kenichi Hashimoto. Yūji Nashiro
Yuji Nashiro (名城裕司) (born September 13, 1983) is a Japanese kickboxer who competes in the welterweight division. Biography and career Nashiro was born in Nara City and is the brother of world champion boxer Nobuo Nashiro. He began his martial arts career in Kyokushin karate, in which he was the Japanese and Asian champion in the middleweight division. He was also the amateur Muay Thai champion of Japan. Xu Yan (; born November 22, 1987) is a Chinese Sanda, kickboxer who competes in the middleweight division. A multiple time provincial and national Sanshou titlist in his home country, Xu later made the switch to Oriental rules kickboxing and gained recognition fighting internationally in promotions such as Fight Code, K-1 and Shootboxing.
