Yuri Andreevich Belov (russian: Юрий Андреевич Белов; 31 July 1930 – 31 December 1991) was a Soviet film and theatre actor. He was one of the most popular actors of Soviet cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. Biography and career Yurii Belov was born July 31, 1930 in Rzhev (now - Tver Oblast). He spent his childhood in the Kuril Islands, as Yuri's father was a military man, and the last place of his service became the Far East. He graduated from the VGIK (acting course of Boris Bibikov and Olga Pyzhova) in 1955. One year later he became famous for his role as Grisha in the film ''Carnival Night''. For the next seven years films were released with the actor one after another which consolidated his success among the audience and made Yuri Belov one of the most popular actors of the Soviet cinema. Rzhev ( rus, Ржев, p=ˈrʐɛf) is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, town in Tver Oblast, Russia, located southwest of Staritsa (town), Tver Oblast, Staritsa and from Tver, on the highway and railway connecting Moscow and Riga. '' Give Me a Book of Complaints'' (russian: Дайте жалобную книгу, Dayte zhalobnuyu knigu, italic=yes is a 1965 Soviet comedy film directed by Eldar Ryazanov. Plot A group of young journalists accidentally walks into the restaurant ''Dandelion''. The atmosphere in the restaurant is extremely unhealthy: rude waitresses, thieving barmaid, wretched interior, ridiculous restaurant singer and deputy director Kutaytsev, who is constantly drunk and encourages this mess. However, the young and energetic director of the restaurant Tatiana Shumova is trying, unsuccessfully, to deal with shortcomings of the restaurant that she was entrusted with. Journalist Yuri Nikitin wrote a critical article about the restaurant, but hopelessly falls in love with Tatiana. Come Here, Mukhtar! (russian: Ко мне, Мухтар!, Ko mne, Mukhtar!) is a 1965 drama film directed by Semyon Tumanov. Plot An East European Shepherd is found abandoned in a rail car, and nicknamed Mukhtar. Second Lieutenant Nikolay Glazychev who was caused to the station, release the dog and bring him to the nursery. ''The Hussar Ballad'' (russian: Гусарская баллада, Gusarskaya ballada) is a 1962 Soviet musical film by Eldar Ryazanov, filmed on Mosfilm. In effect, it is one of the best loved musical comedies in Russia. With most of its dialogue delivered in verse, Ryazanov's script romanticizes the adventures of Nadezhda Durova during the Napoleonic wars.
