Yuri (Japanese Singer)
, better known by her stage name yuri, is a Japanese singer, best known as a vocalist of the Japanese band m.o.v.e. She began her musical career at 19 years old in 1996, and released her first song as a solo artist in 1997, the Eurobeat song “PARADISE”, which she released before joining m.o.v.e. History Yuri began her musical career at 19 years old when she appeared on the idol talent program Asayan. She advanced to the finals, signed to Avex's Cutting Edge label, and released her first single, “PARADISE”, in early 1997. Soon after releasing the single, she met record producer t-kimura (Takashi Kimura) and rapper motsu (Mototaka Segawa), and together, the trio formed the band m.o.v.e in the summer of 1997. Yuri de Souza Fonseca (born 8 August 1982), known simply as Yuri, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Spanish club SD Ponferradina as a forward. He also holds Portuguese citizenship, and spent the majority of his professional career in Portugal and Spain, mainly with Ponferradina. Club career Born in Maceió, Alagoas, Yuri arrived in Portugal still in his teens, joining F.C. Maia in the Segunda Liga. His performances there attracted the attention of another club in the north, Primeira Liga's Boavista FC, for which he signed in January 2003. However, Yuri could never impose himself at the side, going on to serve two loans in the process: he helped Gil Vicente F.C. to avoid top-flight relegation in his five-month spell, not being able to repeat it with G.D. Yuri Language (Amazon)
Yurí (Jurí) is, or was, a language previously spoken near a stretch of the Caquetá River in the Brazilian Amazon, extending slightly into Colombia. It was spoken on the Puré River of Colombia, and the Içá River and Japurá River of Brazil. A small amount of data was collected on two occasions in the 19th century, in 1853 and 1867. Kaufman (1994:62, after Nimuendajú 1977:62) notes that there is good lexical evidence to support a link with Ticuna in a Ticuna–Yurí language family, though the data has never been explicitly compared (Hammarström 2010). It is commonly assumed that the Yuri people and language survive among the uncontacted people or peoples of the Rio Puré region, now the Río Puré National Park. is a fictional character introduced in the 2008 role-playing game ''Tales of Vesperia'' by Namco Tales Studio. The protagonist of the story, Yuri is a young adult from the Lower Quarter of the Imperial Capital, Zaphias. He leaves the town with a noble named Estellise in order to find a thief who stole an important instrument to his people. Across the story, he is willing to help those in need, even if he has to take extreme measures to do so, adopting a vigilante-like attitude in many situations. He also forms a guild known as Brave Vesperia when aiding Estellise. Yuri and his childhood friend Flynn are also the protagonists of the anime film '' Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike'' which details their backstories as an imperial knight protecting a town alongside his comrades.
