Yung-Ping High School
Yung-Ping High School (aka YungPing and YongPing), officially named "New Taipei City Yung-Ping High School" (), founded in 1971 as a junior high school (grade 7–9), named "Yung-Ping Junior High School". In 1995, this school changed its name to the present one, combining senior high school (grade 10–12) and junior high school levels. It is the first local public high school in Yung-Ho City. New Taipei City
New Taipei City is a special municipality located in northern Taiwan. The city is home to an estimated population of 3,974,683 as of 2022, making it the most populous city of Taiwan, and also the second largest special municipality by area, behind Kaohsiung. Yonghe District () is an urban area in the southern part of New Taipei, Taiwan. Yonghe District is the smallest district in New Taipei City. It is primarily a mixed residential and commercial area. With around 38,000 inhabitants per square kilometer as of 2019, Yonghe is one of the most densely populated urban areas in the world. History On 1 January 1979, Yonghe was upgraded from an urban township to a county-administered city of Taipei County. With the changing of Taipei County to the special municipality of New Taipei City on 25 December 2010, Yonghe City was changed to Yonghe District. Geology The Xindian River forms a natural boundary between Yonghe and Taipei City to the north and east, although three bridges connect the two areas.
