Yuliya Ratkevich
Yuliya Ratkevich ( be, Юлія Мікалаеўна Раткевіч; Łacinka: Julija Mikałajeŭna Ratkievič; born 16 July 1985) is a Belarusian-born Azerbaijani female wrestler. She is the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist in women's freestyle 55 kg. Early in her career, she competed for Belarus. Career Representing Belarus, Ratkevich won bronze in the 59 kg category at the 2005 European Championships in Varna. After switching to Azerbaijan, she won gold at the 2009 World Championships in Herning and at the 2011 European Championships in Dortmund. Ratkevich competed in women's freestyle 55 kg at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She beat Maria Prevolaraki of Greece in the round of 16, but lost to Saori Yoshida in the next round. Ratkevich thus qualified for the repechage round where she beat American wrestler Kelsey Campbell. In the bronze medal final, she beat Valeria Zholobova from Russia. Saori Yoshida
is a Japanese former freestyle wrestler. Starting in 1998 she won almost every major competition, including three Olympic Games, four Asian Games, and 13 world championships, and became the most decorated athlete in freestyle wrestling history. As of 2016, Yoshida had only three senior career losses in international competitions, to Marcie Van Dusen (0–2) on 20 January 2008 at the Team World Cup series, Valeria Zholobova (1–2) on 27 May 2012 at the World Cup, and to Helen Maroulis (1–4) on 18 August 2016 at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Yoshida was the flagbearer for Japan at the 2006 Asian Games and at the 2012 Olympics. Maria Prevolaraki ( el, Μαρία Πρεβολαράκη; born 21 December 1991 in Athens) is a Greek freestyle wrestler. She competed in the freestyle 55 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated by Yuliya Ratkevich in the 1/8 finals. That year, she also won a bronze medal at the World Championships. She won silver at the 2013 and 2014 European Championships. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she advanced until the quarter-finals, taking 10th place. The Belarusian Latin alphabet or Łacinka (from be, лацінка or łacinka, BGN/PCGN: ''Latsinka'', ) for the Latin script in general is the common name for writing Belarusian using Latin script.
