Yuji Ohno
is a Japanese jazz musician. Ohno is known for his musical scoring of Japanese anime television series, particularly ''Lupin III'', and most famously the 1977 series ''Lupin III Part II'' and the feature film ''The Castle of Cagliostro''. Early life Born in the founding family of Atami City's Hotel Ohnoya, Ohno began playing piano in elementary school. He formed the group Junior Light Music with clarinetist and future NHK announcer Isamu Akashi, a classmate at Keio Senior High School. It was at this time that he taught himself jazz. While enrolled in the Faculty of Law at Keio University he was a member of the prestigious big band "Keio University Light Music Society". Later in college, on the recommendation of Fujica rainbow two, he joined a quintet with Takeshi Shibuya. Marine Express
is an anime television film created for the Nippon Television Network's annual 24-hour charity program, ''Ai wa Chikyū o Suku'', which roughly translates to "Love Saves the Earth". The movie contained a veritable "Who's Who" of Tezuka's notable characters. Each one had an important role, and many of them had individual, intertwining stories which would overlap with the ones of others. To coincide with the central theme of the charity program, the movie emphasized on the dangers of environmental destruction, and that such disasters can be overcome by banding together. ''The Mystery of Mamo'', also known as ''The Secret of Mamo'', is a 1978 Japanese animated science fiction adventure action comedy film; it is the first animated film of the ''Lupin III'' franchise created by manga author Monkey Punch. Daitsuiseki
was a Japanese comedy-action police TV series. It starred regulars Yūzō Kayama, Masaya Oki, Tatsuya Fuji, Naomi Hase, and Kyohei Shibata, with Fumio Watanabe as a semi-regular. It ran for twenty-six episodes in 1978 and won popularity. It is noted for the ad-libbing and jokes by the cast and staff, which became more frequent as the show wore on. Kyohei Shibata appeared as regular cast for the first time in TV drama series. The final episode was directed by Toru Murakawa who was simultaneously directing the film ''Satsujin Yūgi'' featuring Yūsaku Matsuda and Yutaka Nakajima, and thus pulled them in for cameo roles. Yoshiko Sai
is a Japanese singer, composer and poet. Musical career Yoshiko Sai was born in the south of Nara Prefecture in 1953. As a child she liked to draw, and eventually also became a keen reader. Although tests left little time for this hobby during high school, she recalls that she read some works by Edogawa Ranpo. In junior high school she entered the chorus club. Then in senior high school she and four other students started a band inspired by the popular folk group "Akai Tori" (赤い鳥), but she was more interested in painting at the time (she would later be personally responsible for the artwork of most of her albums). After failing to enter the Kyoto University of the Arts in 1972 she enrolled in the law department at Doshisha University instead, but spent the following year bed-ridden by a kidney disease. is a Japanese popular musician, singer-songwriter and actor. Life and career Son of mid-twentieth century film star Ken Uehara,and actress Yoko Kozakura, ( ja) Kayama graduated from Keio University. Yuzo Kayama signed with Toho and made his film debut with ''Otoko tai Otoko'' directed by Senkichi Taniguchi in 1960. He was cast in the leading role in the 1960 film ''Dokuritsu Gurentai Nishie'' directed by Kihachi Okamoto. Kayama rose to stardom in the 1960s in the '' Wakadaishō'' ("Young Guy") film series.
