Yugam (film)
''Yugam '' () is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by Pavan Sekar and starring Rahul Madhav and Deepti (of '' Pattalam'' fame). Cast *Rahul Madhav as Shiva *Deepti as Pooja *Pawan Kumar *Senthil *Jaymani *Ramesh Production The film is directed by erstwhile cinematographer Pawan Sekar, who worked under Jeeva. In 2010, the film was shot in Chennai and the songs were shot in Ooty. Soundtrack Music by Ponraj and lyrics written by Lalithanand. Reception A critic from ''The Times of India'' gave the film a rating of one out of five stars and opined that " The film is full of badly-staged scenes that are further made insufferable by the overpowering background score, poor cinematography (that gives it the feel of a dated TV serial) and a climax that is perhaps the film’s one and only — and unintended — joke". Rahul Madhav
Rahul Madhav (born 29 December 1984) is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Malayalam cinema. He has also acted in Tamil and Kannada films. His notable films are ''Vaadamalli'', ''Thani Oruvan'', ''Memories'' and '' 100 Days of Love''. Acting career Rahul Madhav made his debut in the industry with the Tamil movie '' Adhe Neram Adhe Idam'', directed by M. Prabhu, who was the associate director of S. J. Surya. Later, he got an offer from the Tamil industry to play the lead role in '' Yugam'' (2012), directed by Sribavansekar, during the shooting of this movie he got an offer from Mollywood to present one of the lead characters in '' Bangkok Summer'' (2011), which was directed by Pramod Pappan. ''Pattalam'' () is a 2009 Tamil language teen film directed by Rohan Krishna. Produced by Thirupathi Brothers company, the film features an ensemble cast including Nadhiya, Yuthan Balaji, Arun, Hariharan, Irfan, Deepthi Nambiar, and Vikash Suresh. The music was composed by Jassie Gift with cinematography by E. Krishnasamy and editing by G. Sasikumar. The film released on 27 March 2009 to mixed reviews. The film is about a school correspondent and psychiatrist who is very close to eight school going youngsters who are having a blast enjoying their teenage years without any commitments to burden them. Plot The film is about two groups of four adolescents in Holy Bells School, who are pitted against each other. Their encounters make up the first part. Jeeva (director)
Jeeva (21 September 1963 – 26 June 2007) was an Indian filmmaker, cinematographer and film director in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam-language cinema. He was an established cinematographer in the late 90s and early 2000s. Career Jeeva started his career assisting cinematographer P. C. Sreeram in the films such as ''Nayakan'', ''Agni Natchathiram'', '' Apoorva Sagodharargal'', ''Idhaya Thamarai'', ''Gopura Vasalile'' and ''Meera''. He became an independent cinematographer in Priyadarshan's Malayalam film '' Abhimanyu'' (1991) starring Mohanlal and went on to film over 20 films including his own directorials. He was director Shankar's usual cinematographer in his early films such as '' Gentleman'' (1993), ''Kadhalan'' (1994) and '' Indian'' (1996). ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications. It was founded in 1932 as ''The Indian Express'', under the ownership of Chennai-based P. Varadarajulu Naidu.
