Yugal
SSC Yugal (Sydney Soccer Club Yugal), also known as Yugal, Yugal Ryde, Ryde-Yugal, Yugal-Prague, Auburn Yugal, Liverpool Yugal, is a defunct soccer club from Sydney, Australia. The club, formed by Yugoslav immigrants in the mid-1950s, was originally known as Dalmatinac due to the Dalmatian origins of most of its founders. It competed initially in the Granville District competition before joining the New South Wales Federation of Soccer Clubs' Second Division Competition in 1958, the same year as other former giants of soccer in New South Wales, Pan-Hellenic, later known as Sydney Olympic FC, and Polonia. The club experienced fierce rivalries with Sydney Croatia and White Eagles (later Avala), due to these clubs' large Croatian and Serbian supporter bases and Yugal's Yugoslav-orientated supporter base. 1962 Australia Cup
The 1962 Australia Cup was the first season of the Australia Cup, which was the main national association football knockout cup competition in Australia. 16 teams from around Australia entered the competition. The competition consisted of four clubs from Victoria and Sydney's competition, three from Queensland and South Australia and two from Northern New South Wales. The winner of the Australia Cup received £5,000. The inaugural season of the Cup was won by Yugal who defeated St George Budapest 8–1 at Wentworth Park in the final. The third place playoff, between Juventus (now Brunswick Zebras from Melbourne) and Juventus (now Adelaide City), was won by the South Australian team on penalty kicks. Sydney United 58 Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club and current NSW NPL Champions based in Edensor Park, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. ES Marks Athletics Field
ES Marks Athletics Field is located in Kensington, Sydney, Australia. It was built in 1906 as Sydney Athletics Field. In 1947 a cinder track was installed and it was renamed ES Marks Athletics Field after athletics administrator Ernest Samuel Marks. In 1956 a grandstand was built. In the early 1960s, it hosted the Australian Athletics National Titles, however as the cinders track aged and alternate synthetic tracks at other venues were built, the facility fell out of favour.ES Marks Athletics Field

Karen Menzies
Karen Menzies (born 1962) is known for being the first Indigenous Australian association footballer in the Australia women's national soccer team. She played seven games for the Matildas in the period 1983–1989. Early life Menzies grew up in the 1960s in North Ryde, New South Wales. She loved sports as a child, in particular soccer, influenced by the nearby Yugal Ryde. At the age of 13, in 1976, she was removed from her adoptive parents and put into residential care, first for three months in Sydney and then five years in Newcastle, after she had been skipping school and experimenting with drugs and alcohol.
