Yu Chao-wei
Yu Chao-wei (born 22 October 1993) is a Taiwanese male artistic gymnast. Career Yu represented Chinese Taipei at the 2017 Summer Universiade and helped the team finish fifth. He qualified for the rings final and finished eighth. He also represented Chinese Taipei at the 2018 Asian Games where the team finished fourth. Individually, Yu competed in the all-around and finished thirteenth. Yu was a member of the team that qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games at the 2019 World Championships. In the team final, the Chinese Taipei team finished sixth. Yu was initially selected to represent Chinese Taipei at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Taoyuan () is a special municipality of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in northwestern Taiwan, neighboring New Taipei City to the north-east, Yilan County to the south-east, and Hsinchu County to the south-west. 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Stuttgart, Germany from October 4–13, 2019. The championships took place at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, and was the third time the city of Stuttgart hosted the event following the 1989 and 2007 editions, and the fifth time Germany hosted it. As of October 2, 92 federations registered gymnasts for the event with a total of 288 men and 259 women.
