Jeffery Lamar Williams (born August 16, 1991), known professionally as Young Thug, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is considered to be an influential figure of his generation, with his music impacting the modern sound of hip hop and trap music. Known for his eccentric vocal style and fashion, Thug initially released a series of independent mixtapes beginning in 2011 with ''I Came from Nothing''. In early 2013, he signed with Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, and later that year he released his label debut mixtape ''1017 Thug'' to critical praise. Openair Frauenfeld
Openair Frauenfeld is an annual hip hop music festival that takes place in Frauenfeld in July. It is considered to be the largest open air festival in Switzerland and the largest hip hop music festival in Europe. The event has been held since 1985. It used to be a rock and blues festival called Out in the Green Festival, which also took place in Winterthur. It was changed to Openair Frauenfeld in 2007. It has hosted numerous high-profile celebrities and has attracted an annual turnout of around 150,000 people. Mixtape
A mixtape (alternatively mix-tape, mix tape or mixed tape) is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. With origins in the 1980s, the term normally describes a homemade compilation of music onto a cassette tape, CD, or digital playlist. The songs are either ordered sequentially or made into a continuous programme by beatmatching the songs and creating seamless transitions at their beginnings and endings with fades or abrupt edits. Essayist Geoffrey O'Brien described this definition of the mixtape as "perhaps the most widely practiced American art form". ''Slime Season'' is the seventh self-released mixtape by American rapper Young Thug, released on September 16, 2015. It features production from a range of artists, including London on da Track, Metro Boomin, Ricky Racks, Wheezy, and WondaGurl, and guest appearances from Migos, Gucci Mane, Peewee Longway, and Lil Wayne. The mixtape was largely compiled from tracks that had leaked on the internet in the previous year.
