Young Rising Sons
Young Rising Sons are an American indie pop band consisting of Andy Tongren (lead singer/guitar), Julian Dimagiba (bass), Max Iantorno (guitar) and Steve Patrick (drums) formed in 2010. With the release of their debut single "High", Young Rising Sons signed with Dirty Canvas/Interscope Records in 2013. BBC Radio 1 DJ, Zane Lowe named “High” a “Next Hype” track upon its release in the spring of 2014. Biography 2010–2012: Band formation Dimagiba and Patrick grew up playing music together in Red Bank, NJ. After watching Andy Tongren perform an acoustic set at a New York City bar, the other members approached him about taking lead vocals in their newly formed band. Red Bank is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Incorporated in 1908, the community is on the Navesink River, the area's original transportation route to the ocean and other ports. Interscope Records is an American record label owned by Universal Music Group through its Interscope Geffen A&M imprint. Founded in late 1990 by Jimmy Iovine and Ted Field as a $20 million joint venture with Atlantic Records of Warner Music Group and Interscope Communications, it differed from most record companies by letting A&R staff control decisions and allowing artists and producers full creative control. Kongos (often styled as KONGOS) is a South African American band, now based in Austin, Texas. The alternative rock group consists of four brothers: Dylan (vocals, bass guitar, guitar), Johnny (accordion, keyboards, vocals), Jesse (drums, percussion, vocals) and Daniel Kongos (guitar, vocals). Aaron Accetta is an American New York–based multi-platinum record producer, songwriter, and musician. He is currently co-owner of Dirty Canvas Music, a full scale music production company focused on artist development. Shep Goodman
Shep Goodman is an American New York–based multi-platinum record producer, songwriter, and musician. He got his start in the music industry, by fronting the Elektra Records signed rock-act, Coward. After the disbandment of the band, he started the music production company Sheppard Music Inc with Kenny Gioia. They were known as "Shep & Kenny", and began writing and producing for various artists.
