Christopher Bellard (born June 17, 1979), also known by his stage name Young Maylay, is an American rapper, record producer and actor based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his portrayal of Carl "CJ" Johnson, the main character and protagonist of the 2004 video game '' Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas''. Early life Christopher Bellard was born and raised in Los Angeles, California amid gang violence and the peak of gangsta rap in a crime-riddled area in poverty which inspired his rapping career. Bellard is the younger cousin of actor and rapper Shawn Fonteno, who played Franklin Clinton, one of the protagonists of '' Grand Theft Auto V''. Wilbur Bass (born May 31, 1969), better known as Blaq Poet, is an American rapper from Queensbridge, New York City. Biography Blaq Poet was first heard on the track "Beat You Down" from the Bridge Wars during 1987, a diss song towards KRS-One and Boogie Down Productions. At that time, Poet was at least 17 years old, as stated in a 2009 radio interview. During 1991, Poet and DJ Hot Day made a duo called PHD (Poet & Hot Day) and released their debut album, ''Without Warning'', on Tuff City Records. Lamar Dupré Calhoun (November 18, 1971 – January 9, 2017), better known as DJ Crazy Toones, was an American hip hop producer and deejay. He was a member of the rap group WC and the Maad Circle and was later signed to Ice Cube's Lench Mob Records. "What Will It Be" is a digital single by Deeyah Khan, featuring guest performance rap by Los Angeles based rapper Young Maylay. This was Young Maylay's first appearance in a single. What Will It Be was to be Deeyah's second single in the UK after a successful Top 30 release of Plan of My Own. The music video for What Will It Be was filmed in Mumbai, India. Throughout the music video people are shown removing tape from their mouths to illustrate a need for expressive freedom, particularly concerning women's right's, a woman's freedom of choice as well as sexuality.
