Young-jae Jung
Young-jae Jung (born 1984) is a South Korean ballet dancer. He is currently a member of the Korea National Ballet where he is a soloist. Jung graduated from Ulan Ude State Ballet School, Russia in 2001 and also attended the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. After graduating from Korea National University of Arts, he danced at Universal Ballet. In 2008, he was a member of corps de ballet at the English National Ballet (ENB) for two years. At ENB, he was taught by Anthony Dowson (a former principal dancer at the Royal Ballet) and played leading roles in the ENB director Wayne Eagling's numerous works such as ''The Snow Queen'', ''Coppélia'', ''Manon'', '' The Sleeping Beauty'' and ''The Nutcracker''. In July 2009 he joined the Korea National Ballet. Jung (Korean Surname)
Jung is a Latin alphabet rendition of the Korean family name "정", also often spelled Jeong, Chung, Joung or Jong. As of the South Korean census of 2015, there were 2,407,601 people by this name in South Korea or 4.84% of the population. The Korean family name "정" is mainly derived from three homophonous hanja. Wayne Eagling
Wayne Eagling (born 27 November 1950) is a Canadian ballet dancer, now retired. After more than twenty years as a popular member of The Royal Ballet in London, he became well known as an international choreographer and company director. Early life and training Wayne John Eagling was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Anglophone parents, Edward and Thelma Eagling. He spent much of his childhood and youth in California, where his family had moved. As a boy, he augmented his academic studies by attending classes at the Patricia Ramsey Studio of Dance Arts. There, he developed into a gifted student of classical ballet and, as he matured, was encouraged by his teachers to pursue a career as a professional dancer. South Korean Male Ballet Dancers
