Youichi Imamura
is a Japanese professional drifting driver, currently serving as a judge in Formula Drift Japan after he stopped competing in 2019. He has always enjoyed driving, so drifting was a natural thing for him. His other passion is flowers as his parents ran a florist business and he has always helped them out. So he has always known that he would be a florist, when he is not drifting he is working in a florists in Yamanashi called Silky House. His favourite time of the week is when he and his wife drive out to collect stock, Sometimes he cannot make it as he is at a photo shoot or a D1 event, so he uses the internet to check up. He has been competing in the D1 Grand Prix series since it began in October 2000. His first successful year was the season where he won the series title in hiA'PEXi Mazda RX-7 (FD3S). The 2010 Gran Turismo D1 Grand Prix series will be the tenth anniversary season for the D1 Grand Prix series and the fifth for the D1 Street Legal spinoff series. 2009 D1 Grand Prix Series
The 2009 Gran Turismo D1 Grand Prix series was the ninth season for the D1 Grand Prix series and the fourth for the D1 Street Legal spinoff series. This year saw the return of the US series after its cancellation last year, its second season. The series began on March 29, 2009 at Ebisu Circuit for the D1GP and April 11 for D1SL at Bihoku Highland Circuit. The USA series consisted of four rounds and the first round was on May 2, 2009. The series concluded on December 5 as a D1SL point scoring round. Youichi Imamura took advantage of a non-score by Tsuyoshi Tezuka at the final round to claim the D1GP title in his Nissan Silvia. Meanwhile, in D1SL, Naoki Nakamura claimed that championship, also in a Silvia. Okayama International Circuit
Okayama International Circuit (岡山国際サーキット), formerly known as TI Circuit Aida (TIサーキット英田) before 2005, is a private motorsport race track in Mimasaka, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. TI was the abbreviation of "Tanaka International" after the name of the golf club owner, Hajime Tanaka, though the name of the circuit was officially "TI Circuit Aida". Nissan Silvia
The is the series of small sports cars produced by Nissan. Versions of the Silvia have been marketed as the 200SX or 240SX for export, with some export versions being sold under the Datsun brand. The name "Silvia" is derived from Sylvia, the name of the nymph who served Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt and chastity. The name also means "forest" in Latin. Suzuka Circuit
The , more famously known as the , is a long motorsport race track located in Ino, Suzuka, Mie, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Honda Mobilityland, a subsidiary of Honda, Honda Motor Co, Ltd. Irwindale is a city in the San Gabriel Valley, in Los Angeles County, California. The population was 1,422 at the 2010 census, down from 1,446 at the 2000 census. Fuji Speedway
is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was built in the early 1960s. In the 1980s, Fuji Speedway was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. Originally managed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Fuji Speedway was acquired by Toyota Motor Corporation in 2000.
