"You Won't Believe What This Episode Is About – Act Three Will Shock You!" is the 14th episode of the 33rd season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons'', and the 720th episode overall. It aired in the United States on Fox on March 13, 2022. The episode was directed by Jennifer Moeller and written by Christine Nangle. This is the first episode of ''The Simpsons'' to have all-female creative leads. Plot Marge rents a new vacuum and sends the family outside while she cleans the house. Homer drops off Bart and Lisa at a trampoline park, while he goes to a dog park. There, Homer engages in an awkward conversation with Lenny, who is overly enthusiastic about his new dog. Homer is relieved when Santa's Little Helper scares Lenny's dog off, going to buy him ice cream as a treat. Dirty Work (Steely Dan Song)
"Dirty Work" is a song written by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker of Steely Dan, which appeared on the band's 1972 debut album ''Can't Buy a Thrill''. Theme The song's lyrics describe an affair between a man and a married woman, sung by the man. ''Steely Dan FAQ'' author Anthony Robustelli describes "Dirty Work" as a "song of self-loathing", while ''The Guardian'' describes the narrative as soap operatic. The singer recognizes that the woman is using him, but is too infatuated to end the affair. The second verse features the lyrics: "Like a castle in its corner in a medieval game", referencing the chess-piece the rook, chess being a hobby of Becker's. Santa's Little Helper
Santa's Little Helper is a fictional dog in the American animated television series ''The Simpsons''. He is the pet greyhound of the Simpson family. He was previously voiced by Frank Welker, and is currently voiced by Dan Castellaneta. The dog was introduced in the first episode of the show, the 1989 Christmas special "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", in which his owner abandons him for finishing last in a greyhound race. Homer Simpson and his son Bart, who are at the race track in hope of winning some money for Christmas presents, see this and decide to adopt the dog. Tony Sokol (born March 23, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York (U.S. state), New York, United States) is an American playwright, writer and composer, best known for writing the theatrical horror series La Commedia Del Sangue: Vampyr Theatre in New York City. As a musician, Sokol played guitar, bass or sang in Queer Jesus, The Others, Busted Chops, Head First, 4Q, Death of the Party and the Abstract 4. He appeared several times on WBAI-FM with jazz vocalist Devorah Simpson, as well as backing her on live sessions on the station on guitar and with his band.
