"You Be Killin Em" is a song by American rapper Fabolous, released as the first single from his debut extended play '' There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music EP'' (2010). Recorded at Tainted Blue Studio, NYC, the song was produced by Ryan Leslie – although American rapper Kid Cudi alleges an uncredited co-production credit on his behalf, a claim which has yet to be validated by Leslie or Fabolous. The song was released to radio on November 23, 2010. The song contains a sample of “Synthetic Substitution” as performed by Melvin Bliss and written by Herb Rooney. Music video The music video was filmed in November 21, 2010; directed by Aristotle (By Any Means LLC). Model Amber Rose makes an appearance in the video as well as Ryan Leslie. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition while still a senior in high school, when he performed live on American music executive DJ Clue's radio show, then on WQHT, Hot 97.
