Moze Mossanen
Moze Mossanen is a Canadian independent writer, director and producer who has created a body of critically acclaimed film and TV work blending drama, music, performance and documentary. Most recently, he wrote and directed the documentary feature, ''You Are Here: A Come From Away Story''. His other works include ''Year of the Lion'', a dance film adaptation of the novel, ''Les Liaisons dangereuses, Dangerous Liaisons'', and ''Nureyev'', a docu-drama about the life of the Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev. Early life Mossanen was born in Tehran to a Jewish family, Iran and lived in England before emigrating to Canada. He attended Ryerson University, where he studied filmmaking. ''The Telegram'' is a daily newspaper published weekdays and Saturdays (as ''The Weekend Telegram'') in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. History ''The Evening Telegram'' was first published on April 3, 1879 by William James Herder. It adopted its current name in 1998, although it was also briefly published under this name in 1881. Herder and his descendants owned and published ''The Evening Telegram'' until it was sold to Thomson Newspapers (now Thomson Corporation) in 1970, and continued as publishers until the departure of Stephen R. Herder (William's Grandson) in 1991. William Herder began as a printer for the St. John's weekly ''The Courier''. Ian McGettigan is a Canadian rock musician and producer. He was the bassist and a singer and songwriter for Thrush Hermit. Career McGettigan toured through Canada and the United States with Thrush Hermit. The band released two EPs on Murderecords, ''Smart Bomb'' and ''Great Pacific Ocean''. They signed to the American label Elektra Records and released their full length '' Sweet Homewrecker''. Their 1999 album '' Clayton Park'', on Sonic Unyon Records, was their most successful album, both critically and commercially. Following Thrush Hermit's break-up, McGettigan produced and contributed to a number of acts and projects, including Joel Plaskett Emergency, Peter Elkas, Jewish Legend, and Two Hours Traffic.
