You Again (album)
''You Again'' is the third studio album by the American country music group The Forester Sisters. It was released in 1987 via Warner Records Nashville. Content Three singles charted from the album: a cover of Brenda Lee's 1965 single " Too Many Rivers", followed by the title track and "Lyin' in His Arms Again". Of these, "You Again" achieved the number one position on Hot Country Songs in 1987, while the other two both peaked at number five on the same. " Sooner or Later" was later covered by Eddy Raven, who released it in 1990 as a single from his album '' Temporary Sanity''. The Forester Sisters
The Forester Sisters were an American country music vocal group consisting of sisters Kathy, June, Kim, and Christy Forester. Having performed together locally in their native Lookout Mountain, Georgia, since the 1970s, the four sisters began singing full-time in the 1980s and signed to Warner Records Nashville in 1984. Their greatest commercial success came between then and 1991, when they charted fifteen top-ten hits on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart, five of which went to number one: " I Fell in Love Again Last Night", " Just in Case", " Mama's Never Seen Those Eyes", " Too Much Is Not Enough" (with The Bellamy Brothers), and " You Again". They won the Academy of Country Music Group of the Year award in 1986 and were nominated three times for a Grammy Award. Temporary Sanity
''Temporary Sanity'' is the eighth studio album by American country music singer Eddy Raven. It was released in 1989 by Universal Records. Content and reception The album accounted for two number one singles on Hot Country Songs: "In a Letter to You" (a cover of Shakin' Stevens) and "Bayou Boys". Following these singles were " Sooner or Later" and " Island". The latter two were issued via Capitol Records, which acquired Universal in 1989. Raven said of the album's sound that he wanted to add influences of Latin and Caribbean music to his sound, noting in particular the inclusion of steel drums on "Bayou Boys", and comparing "Zydeco Lady" to the sound of Miami Sound Machine. Jason Ankeny of ''Allmusic'' called the album a "mixed bag", referring to "Island" as a "moody ballad" but calling the sound of "Bayou Boys" "hamfisted". Radney Foster
Radney Muckleroy Foster (born July 20, 1959) is an American country music singer-songwriter, musician and music producer. Initially a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, Foster made his recording debut as part of the Foster & Lloyd duo, recording three studio albums and with nine singles on the country charts. Foster began his solo career in 1992 and his album '' Del Rio, TX 1959'' produced four consecutive Top 40 hits. However, his commercial success waned with the release subsequent albums such as '' Labor of Love'' (1995), ''See What You Want to See'' (1999), '' Are You Ready for the Big Show?'', '' Another Way to Go'' (2002) and ''This World We Live In'' (2006). Holly Dunn
Holly Suzette Dunn (August 22, 1957 – November 14, 2016) was an American country music singer and songwriter. Dunn recorded for MTM Records between 1985 and 1988, Warner Bros. Records between 1988 and 1993, and River North Records between 1995 and 1997. She released 10 albums and charted 19 singles, plus two duets on the Hot Country Songs charts. Two of her single releases, " Are You Ever Gonna Love Me" and " You Really Had Me Going", went to No. 1 on that chart. Other songs for which she is known include " Daddy's Hands" and " Maybe I Mean Yes". Dunn's brother, Chris Waters, is a songwriter and record producer, having worked with both his sister and other artists in these capacities. Kent Blazy (born in Lexington, Kentucky) is an American country music songwriter. His credits include several singles for Garth Brooks (including Brooks' first number one hit, "If Tomorrow Never Comes"), as well as singles by Gary Morris, Diamond Rio, Patty Loveless and Chris Young. Bill LaBounty
Bill LaBounty is an American musician. He was initially a singer-songwriter in the soft rock genre. As a solo artist, LaBounty recorded six studio albums, including four on Curb/Warner Bros. Records. His first charting single, " This Night Won't Last Forever", was covered in 1979 by Michael Johnson, whose rendition was a top 20 pop hit that year, and eventually also covered by the country group Sawyer Brown in the early 2000s. LaBounty was born in Wisconsin and raised in Idaho. He attended Boise State University where he founded his first band Fat Chance, which recorded one album for RCA Records. In the mid-1980s, LaBounty shifted his focus to country music and has co-written several songs for country music artists, including Steve Wariner's number one hits "Lynda", " The Weekend" and " I Got Dreams". Karen Staley
Karen Staley (born in Weirton, West Virginia) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Staley was raised in Georgetown, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and was inspired to write songs after reading through the hymnals at her local church. She continued to do so while at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she joined the women's fraternity Alpha Gamma Delta. She took a job at a children's home, before moving to Los Angeles, California to sign with a contemporary Christian music label which went out of business before she could release anything.
