Yorkdale Bus Terminal
Yorkdale Bus Terminal is located at 1 Yorkdale Road, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It occupies the lowest level of an office building adjacent to Yorkdale Shopping Centre and is connected directly to Yorkdale subway station by a pedestrian bridge. Its creation was announced by James Snow, the Ontario Minister of Transportation and Communications, in March 1977. Construction of the station started soon after, and was expected to be completed by late 1977. The bus terminal is strategically located, in the middle of what was formerly the City of North York, at Allen Road on the south side of Highway 401, the main transportation artery across the Greater Toronto Area. Durham College Oshawa GO station is a station for commuter rail, passenger rail and regional bus services in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. It is the terminal station for the Lakeshore East line of GO Transit and serves Via Rail's '' Corridor'' service, which travels from Toronto to both Ottawa and Montreal. The bus terminal is served by bus routes of GO Transit and Durham Region Transit. History The Grand Trunk Railway between Montreal and Toronto was completed in 1856 and the first Oshawa station was located on the north end of Albert Street. Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal
Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal is a regional and intercity bus terminal in Scarborough City Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located near its namesake rapid transit station on Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway. It is served by GO Transit buses, Megabus (Coach Canada), TOK, and other private coach services. The terminal is near the Scarborough Town Centre shopping mall and the Scarborough Civic Centre. The original regional bus terminal opened in 1985 adjacent to the Line 3 station, but was relocated to a temporary on-street terminal on Borough Drive starting October 1, 2022. Line 3 is expected to close permanently in 2023 and be replaced with TTC buses until the Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth opens for revenue service expected in 2030. GO Transit, the interregional public transit system in Southern Ontario, has a number of various road and rail vehicles. This includes 90 locomotives, 979 train coaches, and 752 buses. Toronto Airport Express was a bus service operated by Pacific Western Transportation under a contract with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority to operate express bus services between Toronto Pearson International Airport and downtown Toronto. The service was discontinued in October 2014 for a variety of reasons, including anticipated opening of the Union Pearson Express, a rail link connecting the airport to downtown Toronto. Gray Coach was a Canadian inter-city bus line based in Toronto, Ontario, from 1927 to 1992.
