York House Recordings, also known as YHR or YHR Tapes, was a small United Kingdom, British independent record label, independent label which released 31 original cassettes of industrial music, industrial, electronic music, electronic, experimental music, experimental, avant-garde, and dark ambient music, ambient music between 1979 and 1983. History York House Recordings was founded by David Elliott (musician), David Elliott, who also published a magazine called Neumusik. Elliott put out a series of cassettes in parallel with the magazine featuring artists from all over the world. Conrad Schnitzler
Conrad "Conny" Schnitzler (17 March 1937 – 4 August 2011) was a prolific German experimental musician associated with West Germany's 1970s krautrock movement. A co-founder of West Berlin's Zodiak Free Arts Lab, he was an early member of Tangerine Dream (1969–1970) and a founder of the band Kluster. He left Kluster in 1971, first working with his group Eruption and then focusing on solo works. Schnitzler participated in several collaborations with other electronic musicians. Biography Schnitzler was born in Düsseldorf. His father was German, his mother was Italian. He had a wife and they had three children,Conrad Schnitzler (1937–2011)

''Live in Vienna, 1980'' is a live collaborative album by German electronic music outfit Cluster and percussionist Joshi Farnbauer. It is the first of four live albums recorded by Cluster, and their only work with Farnbauer. The album was released as a limited edition cassette on the British York House Records (YHR) label. It was reissued in Germany on the Transmitter label.The Gruene Kraft

Peter Schäfer (born 29 June 1943, Mülheim an der Ruhr, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a prolific German scholar of ancient religious studies, who has made contributions to the field of ancient Judaism and early Christianity through monographs, co-edited volumes, numerous articles, and his trademark synoptic editions. He was a Professor of Religion and the Ronald O. Perelman Professor of Judaic Studies at Princeton University from 1998 to 2013. He was the director of the Jewish Museum of Berlin until June 2019 when he resigned amid criticism after a museum spokesperson issued a tweet critical of a Bundestag resolution that said the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement had an anti-semitic character.
