Yoon Ji-sung
Yoon Ji-sung (; born March 8, 1991) is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known for finishing eighth in the second series of ''Produce 101'' and is the former leader of South Korean boy group Wanna One. Following Wanna One's disbandment, Yoon established his career as a solo artist with the release of his first extended play ''Aside'' on February 20, 2019. Korean indie, referring to independent music in South Korea, developed in the 1990s in Hongdae, an area of Northwestern Seoul. ''The King of Mask Singer'' () is a South Korean singing competition program presented by Kim Sung-joo, with introductions by voice actor . It airs on MBC on Sunday, starting from April 5, 2015 as a part of MBC's '' Sunday Night'' programming block. Format Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds. ''Produce 101 Season 2'' () was a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public (called 'national producers') "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public also chose the group's concept, debut song and group name. In the season finale on June 16, 2017, which was broadcast live, the show announced the final 11 members who would debut as Wanna One.
