Yoo Eun-hae
Yoo Eun-hae (; born 2 October 1962) is a South Korean politician who served as the Minister of Education and ex officio Deputy Prime Minister of South Korea, along with Hong Nam-ki under President Moon Jae-in from October 2018 to 9 May 2022. She is the first woman to serve as a Deputy Prime Minister in South Korea. Yoo is the longest-serving education minister of the country. She was expected to resign and run for the governor of Gyeonggi Province but decided not to given the pandemic-disrupted education in the country. While studying at Sungkyunkwan University, she joined pro-democracy movement against authoritarian regime of then-president Chun. She has bachelor's degree in Eastern Philosophy from Sungkyunkwan University and Master's degree in public policy from Ewha Woman's University. She first met Moon when the then-lawyer helped her family to receive benefits from her father's overwork death. She was the spokesperson of Moon's second presidential campaign in 2017. From ... 2016 South Korean Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in South Korea on 13 April 2016. All 300 members of the National Assembly were elected, 253 from first-past-the-post constituencies and 47 from proportional party lists. The election was an upset victory for the liberal Democratic Party, which defied opinion polling by winning a plurality of seats in the election and defeating the ruling conservative Saenuri Party by one seat. In votes for party lists, however, Democratic Party came third, behind the Saenuri Party in first place and the new People Party in second. The election was won by the ruling Saenuri or New Frontier Party, which renewed its majority in the National Assembly, despite losing seats. Ilsan New Town refers to a planned city occupying Ilsandong-gu and Ilsanseo-gu of Goyang. Ilsan is located northwest of Seoul. Karōshi
, which can be translated into "overwork death", is a Japanese term relating to occupation-related sudden death. The most common medical causes of karoshi deaths are heart attacks and strokes due to stress and malnourishment or fasting. Mental stress from the workplace can also cause karoshi through workers taking their own lives. People who die by suicide due to overwork are called ''karōjisatsu'' ().
