Yonkers Joe
''Yonkers Joe'' is a 2008 American drama film directed by Robert Celestino and starring Chazz Palminteri, Christine Lahti, Tom Guiry, Michael Lerner (actor), Michael Lerner, and Linus Roache. It debuted at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. Plot Joe (Chazz Palminteri, Palminteri) is a small-time con-man and dice-hustler who works with a group of men with similar interests. They shave cards and dice, doing small-time cons at card games and union picnics. He's in a long-term relationship with Janice (Christine Lahti, Lahti) and has a son with Down syndrome, Joe Jr. (Tom Guiry, Guiry). Joe finds out that his son must leave his residential care facility due to age. Joe Jr. has difficulty controlling his anger. He uses profanity and gets into fights. Robert John Celestino is an American film producer, screenwriter, editor and film director. He is best known for his films such as ''Mr. Vincent'' and ''Yonkers Joe''. Films ''Mr. Vincent'' premiered at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival. It won the Critics' Award for best film at the Scermi di Amore Film Festival and the Best Dramatic Feature Award at the Long Island Film Festival. Frank John Hughes (born November 11, 1967) is an American film and television actor, and screenwriter. Hughes is best known for his portrayals of "Wild Bill" Guarnere in the HBO miniseries '' Band of Brothers'', Tom Fox in ''Catch Me If You Can'', Tim Woods in '' 24'', and Walden Belfiore in ''The Sopranos''. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.
