Yokasta Galeth Valle Álvarez (born 28 August 1992) is a Costa Rican professional boxer. She is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the IBF female mini flyweight title since 2019 and previously the IBF female junior mini flyweight title in 2016. She has also challenged once for the WBO female junior flyweight title in 2017 and once for the WBC female mini flyweight title in 2018. As of May 2020, she is ranked as the world's fourth best active female mini flyweight by BoxRec. Early life Born on 28 August 1992 in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, Valle moved to Costa Rica when she was very young. Valle holds Costa Rican nationality. Atomweight (also referred to as light minimumweight, junior strawweight, junior mini-flyweight and pinweight) is a weight class in combat sports. Light Flyweight
Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. On December 31, 1929, the New York State Athletic Commission also abolished the junior flyweight class. No champion had been crowned in this division prior to its abolition. Momo Koseki
is a Japanese former professional boxer. She is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBC female atomweight title from 2008 to 2015; the WBA female atomweight title in 2015; and the WBC female strawweight title in 2017. Koseki has made a record-breaking seventeen consecutive title defenses of her WBC atomweight title. Career Koseki was inspired to take up boxing after watching Hiroshi Kawashima on TV.
