Yogesh Pratap Singh
Yogesh Pratap Singh (born 1959) is a former officer in the police force of India who left to become a lawyer and activist in Mumbai. He directed the international award-winning film '' Kya Yahi Sach Hai'' (2010), a fictional account of corruption in the police force that is based on Singh's own experiences. Police officer Y.P. Singh served as an officer of the Indian Police Service of the 1985 batch, Maharashtra Cadre. During his stint in the IPS he worked in various positions in the district police, the Food and Drugs Administration, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the reserve police. Singh's first posting was in Wardha. There he developed a reputation for tough policing, conducting raids and clampdowns on a daily basis. Prakash Javadekar
Prakash Keshav Javadekar (born 30 January 1951) is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and served as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change from 30 May 2019 till 7 July 2021. Javadekar was elected to the upper house Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament from Maharashtra in 2008, and re-elected from Madhya Pradesh in 2014. Following the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 Indian General Election, he was appointed Minister State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forests and Climate Change by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is also a Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, and briefly held the portfolio of Information and Broadcasting. Javadekar is an official spokesperson of the BJP. Lavasa (Marathi: , lavāsā) is a private, planned city built near Pune, India. It is stylistically based on the Italian town Portofino, with a street and several buildings bearing the name of that town. A or project being developed by HCC, this as-yet-incomplete city has been controversial for multiple reasons including procurement of land, harm to the environment, and loans acquired through political corruption. The Adarsh Housing Society is a 31-story building constructed on prime real estate in Colaba, Mumbai, for the welfare of war widows and personnel of Ministry of Defence (India), India's Ministry of Defence. Over a period of several years, politicians, bureaucrats and military officers allegedly conspired to bend several rules concerning land ownership, zoning, floor space index and membership getting themselves flats allotted in this cooperative society at below-market rates. The scam was unearthed in November 2010 which forced the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan, to resign.
