Yezin
Yezin is a university village located beside the Yangon-Mandalay Road. The village of Yezin ( my, ရေဇင်း), 12 miles far from north-east of Pyinmana, Burma, has been the site of national scientific research institutions since the late 1970s, when the Forest Research Institute (FRI) was established. Soon after the FRI was established, other institutions followed the suit and the place became an academic hub for Forestry, Agriculture and Veterinary. It is located within Naypyidaw Municipal area. Because of the universities and research institutes, the village is famous as the university village. Yezin became a well known academic center long before Nay Pyi Taw was established and became the capital in 2005. Yezin has a dam and it is called Yezin dam. People around Pyinmana used to visit to the dam. Yezin Agricultural University
Yezin Agricultural University (YAU) ( my, ရေဆင်း စိုက်ပျိုးရေး တက္ကသိုလ် ), located in Yezin, is the only institution of higher learning in agriculture in Myanmar. YAU also has major campuses in Mawlamyine and Hlegu, as well as five smaller regional campuses in Aungpan, Hmawbi, Kyaukse, Magway and Phyu. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation administered university offers primarily a four-year Bachelor of Agricultural Science (BAgrSc) program in addition to small master's and doctorate programs. Starting from the 2009 academic year, third-year and fourth-year undergraduate students have to select one crop as a specialized subject and study off campus at one of seven designated farms of the Myanmar Agricultural Service. The University of Forestry and Environmental Science (Yezin) ( my, သစ်တောနှင့်ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာ တက္ကသိုလ် (ရေဆင်း), ), in Yezin near Nay Pyi Taw, is the only university specialized in forestry and environmental science in Myanmar. Founded in 1923 as the Forestry Department of Yangon University, in 1992, the University of Forestry and Environmental Science became a separate entity based in Yezin, Nay Pyi Taw. It mainly offers a five-year Bachelor of Science degree program in forestry and environmental science as well as two-year master's and three-year doctoral programs. Nay Pyi Taw
Naypyidaw, officially spelled Nay Pyi Taw (; ), is the capital and third-largest city of Myanmar. The city is located at the centre of the Naypyidaw Union Territory. It is unusual among Myanmar's cities, as it is an entirely planned city outside of any state or region. The University of Veterinary Science, Yezin ( my, မွေးမြူရေးဆိုင်ရာဆေးတက္ကသိုလ်(ရေဆင်း) ), located in Yezin in the outskirts of Naypyidaw, is the only university of veterinary science in Myanmar (Burma). The university offers a six-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) program. Since 2014, UVS renamed its BVSc degree (UK format) to DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine: USA format) and, since then, all new graduates received DVM title instead. Pyinmana
Pyinmana (, ; population: 100,000 (2006 estimate)) is a logging town and sugarcane refinery center in the Naypyidaw Union Territory of Myanmar. The administrative capital of Myanmar was officially moved to a militarized greenfield site (which the leader, Than Shwe, dubbed Naypyidaw, or Royal City) two miles (3.2 km) west of Pyinmana on November 6, 2005.
