Yevgeni Krylatov
Yevgeny Pavlovich Krylatov (russian: Евге́ний Па́влович Крыла́тов; 23 February 1934 – 8 May 2019) was a Soviet and Russian composer who wrote songs for over 120 Soviet and Russian movies and animated films. Biography Krylatov was born on 23 February 1934 in Lysva in the working class family of Pavel Krylatov and his wife Zoya. Krylatov graduated from Perm Music School in the Moscow Conservatory (1953–1959); having studied at once in two faculties: in the class of the composition with Professor Mikhail Chulaki and in the class of piano with Professor Vladimir Nathanson. After graduating he found himself impoverished, lacking work or a permit to reside in Moscow. He would go on to compose music for more than 150 feature and animated films. Lysva
Lysva (russian: Лысьва) is a town in Perm Krai, Russia, located in the eastern part of the krai on the river Lysva, from Perm. Population: History Lysva as a settlement was known in the middle of the 17th century. The lands around Lysva in the second half of the 18th century were inherited by the daughter of Baron Stroganov, Princess Shakhovskaya. In 1785 construction of the cast-iron foundry began. This year is officially considered the year of Lysva foundation. In 1902 owing to construction of the railway branch the plant, which had been producing iron from the imported pig-iron by that time, obtained a wide access to the country markets. On the 5th of April, 1926 Presidium of All-Russian Central Executive Committee had granted Lysva city status. People's Artist of the Russian Federation (russian: Народный артист Российской Федерации, ''Narodnyy artist Rossiyskoy Federatsii''), also sometimes translated as National Artist of the Russian Federation, is an honorary and the highest title awarded to citizens of the Russian Federation, all outstanding in the performing arts, whose merits are exceptional in the sphere of the development of the performing arts (theatre, music, dance, circus, film, cinema, etc.). It succeeded both the all-Soviet Union "People's Artist of the USSR" award (Народный артист СССР), and more directly the local republic's "People's Artist of the RSFSR" award (Народный артист РСФСР), after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The ''Lilac Ball'' (russian: Лиловый шар) is a 1988 Soviet science-fiction children's film starring Natalya Guseva as Alisa Selezneva, a character she had previously played in the TV miniseries ''Guest from the Future''. Plot Alisa Seleznyova, her father professor Seleznyov, and the ship's captain Zeleniy are travelling in space on the Pegasus. Zeleniy is unhappy that Alisa has brought a frog on board as he insists on keeping the ship clean, however Alisa insists that the frog is in fact a princess under a curse.
