Yeliz Başa
Yeliz Başa (born Yeliz Askan on August 13, 1987 in Beykoz, Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish female volleyball player, who won the gold medal at the 2014 Women's European Volleyball League playing with the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Career Yeliz Başa began her sports career at the age of 14 in the youth team of Beykoz Spor in her hometown. She transferred to Beşiktaş one year later. After playing for the youth team between 2002 and 2004, and for the juniors team from 2004 tp 2006, she entered the senior team, where she was part of until 2012. Her successful performance in 2011–12 season led her to the membership in the Turkey women's national volleyball team. In the 2012–13 season, she transferred to NEC Red Rockets in Japan after signing a one-year contract. She became so the first ever Turkish women's volleyball player in Japan. Beykoz
Beykoz (), also known as Beicos and Beikos, is a district in Istanbul, Turkey at the northern end of the Bosphorus on the Anatolian side. The name is believed to be a combination of the words bey and ''kos'', which means "village" in Farsi. Beykoz includes an area from the streams of Küçüksu and Göksu (just before Anadoluhisarı) to the opening of the Bosphorus into the Black Sea, and the villages in the hinterland as far as the Riva creek. The mayor is Murat Aydın ( AKP). History The mouth of the Bosphorus in ancient times was used as a place of sacrifice, specifically to petition Zeus and Poseidon for a safe journey across the Black Sea, without which no one would venture into those stormy waters. 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference
The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the thirteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''40th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its fourth conference as a professional league. The tournament began on 8 October and finished on 6 December 2022. This is the first reinforced conference in three years, since the last reinforced was commenced way back in 2019. It features nine local teams with one foreign guest player each. Among these nine teams are the returning F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and the debuting team — Akari Chargers. The 2018–19 Women's Volleyball Thailand League is the 14th season of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League, the top Thai professional league for women's volleyball clubs, since its establishment in 2005, also known as CP Women's Volleyball Thailand League due to the sponsorship deal with Charoen Pokphand. The 2020–21 Women's Volleyball Thailand League is the 16th season of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League, the top Thai professional league for women's volleyball clubs, since its establishment in 2005, also known as Daikin Women's Volleyball Thailand League due to the sponsorship deal with Daikin. A total of 8 teams will compete in the league. The season will begin on 12 November 2020 and is scheduled to conclude in 2021.
