She has Olympic gold medal in team competition in 2000 and won two European Championships (1999, 2000). She was a member of national team in 1999-2000. Her father Igor Soya is a coach of a modern pentathlete Dmitri Svatkovskiy Dmitri Svatkovskiy (born 27 November 1971) is a Russian modern pentathlete, Olympic champion and politician. The modern pentathlon is an Olympic sport consisting of fencing (one-touch épée), freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, pistol shooting, and cross country running. The event is inspired by the traditional pentathlon held during the ancient Olympics. The modern pentathlon was first held in 1912, and its rules have changed several times over the years.
