Yehezkel Hen
Yehezkel Hen ( he, יחזקאל הן, born 1882, died 4 April 1952) was an Israeli politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Mapai between 1951 and 1952. Biography Born in Boryslav in Austria-Hungary (today in Ukraine), Hen received a religious education, before studying at a Teachers' Seminary in Kiev. He taught Hebrew in Jewish schools until they were shut down by the Yevsektsiya. He made aliyah to Mandatory Palestine in 1925, where he worked as a teacher and a supervisor for the Histadrut's educational institutions. He also taught at the Levinsky Teachers Seminary in Tel Aviv. Boryslav
Boryslav ( uk, Борислав; pl, Borysław) is a city located on the Tysmenytsia (river), Tysmenytsia (a tributary of the Dniester), in Drohobych Raion, Lviv Oblast (Oblast, region) of western Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Boryslav urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Boryslav is a major center of petroleum industry. Population: History The area of the modern town of Boryslav has been inhabited at least since the Bronze Age. Rachel Tzabari
Rachel Tzabari ( he, רחל צברי, 27 July 1909 – 16 February 1995) was an Israeli politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Mapai and its successors between 1952 and 1969. Biography Born in Tel Aviv during the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman era to Jewish parents who immigrated from Yemen, Tzabari was educated at a girls' school in Neve Tzedek, before studying at a Teachers Seminary in Tel Aviv and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She had five siblings, including Simha Tzabari, Simha. She worked as a teacher, and taught at the model schools in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. She also lectured at the Teachers Seminary at Beit HaKerem, Jerusalem, Beit HaKerem, and was a schools supervisor in Jerusalem. A member of the Haganah prior to independence, Tzabari was on the Mapai list for the 1951 Israeli legislative election, 1951 elections, but failed to win a seat.
