Yedanthasthula Meda
''Yedanthasthula Meda'' () is a 1980 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced under the Jhansi Enterprises banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Sujatha and Jaya Sudha, with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was remade in Hindi as ''Pyaasa Sawan'' (1981) and in Tamil as '' Maadi Veettu Ezhai'' (1981). Plot The film begins with Ranga Rao (Akkineni Nageswara Rao), an unemployed youth. A big shot Prabhakar Rao (Prabhakar Reddy) offers him a job without any questions by misinterpreting Ranga Rao as his tycoon friend's son. Moreover, he intends to knit his daughter Janaki (Sujatha) with Ranga Rao. After some time, the truth comes forward, still, Ranga Rao & Janaki nuptial against the elders' wish. Dasari Narayana Rao
Dasari Narayana Rao (4 May 1947 – 30 May 2017) was an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, lyricist, and politician known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, in addition to Hindi cinema. He has directed more than 150 feature films in a variety of genres. He holds the '' Limca World Record'' for directing the most number of films in the world. He is known by the moniker ''Darsaka Ratna'' (). His works emphasize social injustice, corruption and gender discrimination. Narayana Rao has received two National Film Awards, nine state Nandi Awards including the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and four Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family. Indukuri Ramakrishnam Raju (31 August 1934 – 14 August 1994), populary known by his pen name Rajasri, was an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, film director, and music composer in Telugu cinema.
