Ye Htut
Ye Htut ( my, ရဲထွဋ်, ) is a Burmese military officer who previously served as presidential spokesman from 2013 to 2016 and later as minister for the Ministry of Information (Myanmar) from 2014 to 2016 in the Thein Sein's Cabinet. He left the office in 2016 and worked as visiting senior research fellow at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore until July 2019. Military career Ye Htut applied to Defence Services Academy but initially failed it first time, so enrolled at Rangoon University. He applied again and accepted for the academy's 22nd intake in 1977. After graduation in 1981, he was dispatched to Kayin State, where he would spend five years fighting the Karen National Union along the Myanmar-Thai border. His Excellency

Kachin State
Kachin State ( my, ကချင်ပြည်နယ်; Kachin: ), also known by the endonym Kachinland, is the northernmost state of Myanmar. People's Assembly (Burma)
The Pyithu Hluttaw or People's Assembly ( my, ပြည်သူ့လွှတ်တော်) was the unicameral legislature of the Socialist Republic of the Union of Burma from 1974 to 1988. It was established under the 1974 Constitution of Burma and disbanded with the takeover of the State Law and Order Restoration Council (SLORC) in 1988. Following the 1962 Burmese coup d'etat, there was no functional legislature in existence from 1962 to 1974, as the Revolutionary Council of The Union of Burma served in its capacity. Hijab
In modern usage, hijab ( ar, حجاب, translit=ḥijāb, ) generally refers to headcoverings worn by Muslim women. Many Muslims believe it is obligatory for every female Muslim who has reached the age of puberty to wear a head covering. While such headcoverings can come in many forms, hijab often specifically refers to a cloth wrapped around the head, neck and chest, covering the hair and neck but leaving the face visible. Aung San Suu Kyi
Aung San Suu Kyi (; ; born 19 June 1945) is a Burmese politician, diplomat, author, and a 1991 Nobel Peace Prize laureate who served as State Counsellor of Myanmar (equivalent to a prime minister) and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2016 to 2021. Tatmadaw (, , ) is the official name of the armed forces of Myanmar (formerly Burma).
