Polish (Polish: ''język polski'', , ''polszczyzna'' or simply ''polski'', ) is a West Slavic language of the Lechitic group written in the Latin script. Paul Jaworski (born Paul Poluszynski, 1900, died January 21, 1929) was a Polish-American gangster born in Poland. He immigrated to the United States in 1905. Nikolai Petrovich Yavorsky (Russian: Никола́й Петро́вич Яво́рский; 23 February 1891, Odessa - 9 October 1947, Santiago de Cuba) was a Cuban choreographer and Ballet, ballet teacher of Russian origin. Biography Nikolai Yavorsky was born in Odessa, where in 1909 he started studying classical dance. During World War I he was an artillery officer, during Russian Civil War he fought in the Armed Forces of South Russia. Emigre since 1920, he lived in Turkey, Greece and Yugoslavia. In 1922 Yavorsky was invited to the newly created ballet company of the National Theatre in Belgrade, where he worked under the guidance of Elena Polyakova. In 1928 he moved to Paris where he joined the ballet troupe of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Jiří Javorský
Jiří Javorský, (9 February 1932 – 16 September 2002) was a Czech tennis player. Javorský played in the Davis Cup for Czechoslovakia between 1955 and 1966. In 1957 he and his partner Věra Suková won the mixed doubles at the French Open. In 1968 Javorský moved to Germany where he became a tennis coach. Boleslav Leopoldovich Yavorsky (russian: Болеслав Леопольдович Яворский; June 22, 1877, Kharkiv – November 26, 1942) was a Russian musicologist, music teacher, administrator and pianist. Walery Jaworski (born March 20, 1849 in Florynka – died July 17, 1924 in Kraków) was one of the pioneers of gastroenterology in Poland. In 1899 he described bacteria living in the human stomach that he named ''Vibrio rugula''. He speculated that they were responsible for stomach ulcers, gastric cancer and achylia. It was one of the first observations of Helicobacter pylori. He published those findings in 1899 in a book titled ''Podręcznik chorób żołądka'' (''Handbook of Gastric Diseases'') but it was available only in Polish and went unnoticed.
