Yasuto Honda
is a former Japanese football player. He played for Japan national team. Club career Honda was born in Kitakyushu on June 25, 1969. After graduating from high school, he joined Japan Soccer League club Honda in 1988. In 1992, he moved to J1 League club Kashima Antlers. The club won the champions at J1 League 4 times, J.League Cup 3 times and Emperor's Cup 2 times. He retired end of 2006 season. He played 400 games and scored 6 goals in the league at both clubs. National team career On October 24, 1995, Honda debuted for Japan national team against Saudi Arabia. In 1996, he played in all matches including 1996 Asian Cup. In 1997, although he played at 1998 World Cup qualification, his opportunity to play decreased in the latter half. He played 29 games and scored 1 goal for Japan until 1997. Kitakyushu
is a Cities of Japan, city located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of June 1, 2019, Kitakyushu has an estimated population of 940,978, making it the second-largest city in both Fukuoka Prefecture and the island of Kyushu after the city of Fukuoka. The 1996 AFC Asian Cup was the 11th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held in the United Arab Emirates between 4 and 21 December 1996. Saudi Arabia defeated hosts United Arab Emirates in the final match in Abu Dhabi. As the runners-up, the United Arab Emirates represented the AFC in the 1997 FIFA Confederations Cup as the winners Saudi Arabia had qualified automatically as host. Saudi Arabia National Football Team
The Saudi Arabia national football team ( ar, المنتخب العربي السعودي لكرة القدم) represent Saudi Arabia in men's international football. They are known as ''Al-Suqour Al-Khodhur'' (The Green Falcons) in reference to their traditional colours of green and white and represent both FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). , or JSL, was the top flight association football league in Japan between 1965 and 1992, and was the precursor to the current professional league, the J.League. Emperor's Cup
, commonly known as or also Japan FA Cup is a Japanese football competition. It has the longest tradition of any football match in Japan, dating back to 1921, before the formation of the J.League, Japan Football League and their predecessor, Japan Soccer League. Before World War II, teams could qualify not only from Japan proper but also from Empire of Japan's former-colonies such as Korea, Taiwan, and sometimes Manchukuo. The winning club qualifies for the AFC Champions League and the Japanese Super Cup. The women's equivalent to this tournament is the Empress's Cup. Ventforet Kofu is the current winners, having won its first title in the 2022 final.
