Yasuhiko Takahashi
Yasuhiko Takahashi (髙橋靖彦, born May 12, 1985) is a Japanese wheel gymnastics acrobat. He has won 3 World Champion Titles, 7 Japanese Champion Titles. He also works for the basketball team, Akita Northern Happinets. At the age of 19, he was injured as a baseball player, and shifted to a wheel athlete. Kakunodate, Akita
is a town located in Senboku District, Akita Prefecture, Japan. In 2003, the town had an estimated population of 14,138 and a density of 90.26 persons per km². The total area was 156.63 km². On September 20, 2005, Kakunodate, along with the town of Tazawako, and the village of Nishiki (all from Senboku District), was merged to create the city of Semboku. The town is famed for its well-preserved samurai houses and the proliferation of cherry trees. It is a popular destination for hanami, or cherry blossom viewing. It is sometimes referred as 'the little Kyoto of Tōhoku' (みちのくの小京都 ''Michinoku no sho-Kyōto''). Wheel gymnastics (German: Rhönradturnen) is a form of gymnastics that originated in Germany. Wheel gymnasts do exercises in a large wheel or hoop known as the Rhönrad, gymnastics wheel, gym wheel, or German wheel, in the beginning also known as ayro wheel, aero wheel, and Rhon rod. The Akita Northern Happinets are a Japanese professional basketball team based in Akita that competes in the Eastern Conference of the First Division of the B.League. The team was formed as an expansion team of the bj league in 2010 and found success for the first time in 2013–14, finishing their fourth season as league runners-up. They went on to finish as runners-up for the second year in a row in 2014–15 and in third place in 2015–16, the final season of the bj league.
