Yaser Tabbara
M. Yaser Tabbara served as the spokesperson and legal advisor for the President of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces (SOC), and the Syrian National Council (SNC). He was also a founding member of the SNC ( National Council of Syria). Tabbara is the Legal and Strategy Advisor and co-founder of the Syrian Forum. He is also the Managing Partner of the US-based Law Firm of Zarzour, Khalil and Tabbara, LLC, since 2008. An international human rights attorney by profession Tabbara helped assemble evidence of Syrian regime crimes against humanity, in 2011, for submission to the International Criminal Court. He is a frequent media contributor and commentator on issues related to the Syrian uprising. He has long played a role in Syrian politics and has been working to bring educational reforms to Syria. National Council Of Syria
The Syrian National Council (SNC; ar, المجلس الوطني السوري, ''al-Majlis al-Waṭanī as-Sūri'', french: Conseil national syrien), sometimes known as the Syrian National Transitional Council or the National Council of Syria, is a Syrian opposition coalition, based in Istanbul, Turkey, formed in August 2011 during the Syrian civil uprising (which escalated into civil war) against the government of Bashar al-Assad. Initially, the council denied seeking to play the role of a government in exile, but this changed a few months later when violence in Syria intensified. The Syrian National Council seeks the end of Bashar al-Assad's rule and the establishment of a modern, civil, democratic state. Crimes against humanity are widespread or systemic acts committed by or on behalf of a ''de facto'' authority, usually a state, that grossly violate human rights. Syrian American Council
Syrian American Council (or SAC) is a 501c3 grassroots organization of Syrian-Americans that does community organizing, awareness-raising, youth empowerment, media outreach, advocacy, and support for Syrian-Americans and the Syrian Opposition. As the largest and oldest grassroots organization of Syrian-Americans, it identifies its mission as “to organize and mobilize the Syrian-American community so that its voice is heard on issues of critical importance to Syrian-Americans."
