Yannick Ottley
Khesan Yannick Gabriel Ottley (born 7 September 1991) is a Trinidadian cricketer who has played for both Trinidad and Tobago and the Combined Campuses and Colleges in West Indian domestic cricket. The younger brother of Kjorn Ottley, Yannick Ottley played for the West Indies under-19s at the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. He was named vice-captain to Jamaica's Andre Creary, and captained the team in matches against Papua New Guinea and Bangladesh when Creary injured a groin. Those two matches were in fact Ottley's only games of the tournament, as he struggled with a thigh strain. The previous year, in October 2009, Ottley had also captained the West Indies under-19s at the 2009–10 WICB President's Cup, where matches held List A status. Couva is an urban town (48,858 in 2011 census) in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain and Chaguanas and north of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, San Fernando and Point Fortin. 2011–12 Regional Four Day Competition
The 2011–12 Regional Four Day Competition was the 46th domestic first-class cricket tournament held in the West Indies, it took place from 5 February 201116 April 2012. Unlike the previous year when the touring England Lions took part in the series, this edition was played between the seven teams based in the Caribbean. The tournament retained the same structure as the previous season; a roundrobin that was followed by semifinals where the top four teams competed. Jamaica won the tournament for the 12th time and for the fifth time in succession. It is the first time that a team has won five outright titles in a row, previously Barbados had won four in a row plus a shared title from 1975/76 to 1979/80. 2019–20 West Indies Championship
The 2019–20 West Indies Championship was the 54th edition of the Regional Four Day Competition, the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The previous edition of the tournament was known as the Regional Four Day Competition before being rebranded by CWI. The competition started on 9 January 2020 and was scheduled to conclude on 5 April 2020. The 2019–20 Regional Super50 was the 46th edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament started on 6 November 2019, with the final taking place on 1 December 2019. The tournament featured the six regular teams of West Indian domestic cricket (Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands), the Combined Campuses and Colleges team and the West Indies Emerging Team. Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. The 2018–19 Regional Super50 was the 45th edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). Windward Islands Cricket Team
The Windward Islands cricket team is a cricket team representing the member countries of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control. The team plays in the West Indies Professional Cricket League (including the NAGICO Regional Super50) under the franchise name Windward Islands Volcanoes. It includes the islands that were known as the British Windward Islands except for Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, who have their own teams. Rayad Ryan Emrit (born 8 March 1981) is a West Indian cricketer. Emrit has represented the West Indies Senior team, making his first ODI appearance just a year after his regional debut in 2007. Emrit maintained discipline and motivation and defied the odds to be next selected for the West Indies T20 Champion team in 2018 against New Zealand. An allrounder who is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast seamer. In domestic cricket, he has captained both his native Trinidad and Tobago side, and the Guyana Amazon Warriors in CPL 2017. The 2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition was the 50th edition of the Regional Four Day Competition, the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition ran from 6 November 2015 to 18 March 2016. Six teams contested the tournament – Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands.
